About DustyCircuits
Born from decades of hands-on experience with technology — and a belief that everyone deserves a PC that runs the way it should.
A Bit About Me
I've been tinkering with technology for over 25 years now, ever since I took apart my first family PC as a kid and somehow managed to put it back together. That curiosity never really went away. I've built more computers, servers, and weird tech projects than I can count, and I still get a kick out of making hardware work the way it should.
Earlier in my career I co-founded StatusCake, a website monitoring platform that went on to be trusted by organisations like NASA, Facebook, BMW and hundreds of thousands of other businesses around the world. I've since moved on from StatusCake, but the experience of building a product at that scale taught me a huge amount about reliability, trust, and what it means to look after something people depend on.
These days I run a couple of other online businesses, BookingNinja.io and GoPiglet.com, which between them serve thousands of customers and reach hundreds of thousands of people every month. I'm fortunate that I get to build things that help people, and I've learned a lot along the way about what it takes to deliver a service people can actually rely on.
Over the years, especially working with dedicated server hardware, I kept coming back to the same realisation: keeping technology physically clean matters far more than most people think. I've seen what dust does to machines over time. The overheating, the throttling, the premature failures. It's almost always preventable with regular care.
The trouble is, there was never an easy, trustworthy way for ordinary people to get it done. So I built DustyCircuits to fill that gap. Nothing fancy, just a straightforward way to connect people with verified technicians who'll take proper care of their kit.

The Mission
Most people know they should keep their car serviced. They understand that regular maintenance prevents bigger, more expensive problems down the line. But when it comes to computers — machines we rely on every single day — the physical health of the hardware is almost universally ignored.
The reality is that dust, heat, and degraded thermal paste are silently shortening the life of millions of PCs right now. Fans are working overtime, processors are throttling themselves to avoid damage, and components that should last a decade are dying in half that time. It's not a complicated problem to fix — but it does require care, the right tools, and someone who knows what they're doing.
DustyCircuits is built around one simple goal: make it easy for people to get trusted, verified technicians to perform safe, professional physical cleans of their electronic devices.
No jargon, no upselling, no unnecessary complexity. Just honest work by people who genuinely care about technology and want to help yours last longer, run cooler, and perform better.
Our Values
Transparency
We tell you exactly what we do, what we find, and what we can't fix. No surprises, ever.
Trust
Verified technicians, full insurance, before-and-after documentation on every job.
Simplicity
Book in two minutes, drop off or arrange collection. We handle the rest.
Care
We treat every machine like it's our own. Because we know how much your PC matters to you.
Free Cleaning for Charities & Non-Profits
We believe that organisations doing good in the world shouldn't have to worry about the health of their technology. That's why DustyCircuits provides completely free cleaning services for registered charities and non-profit organisations.
Charities often run on tight budgets with donated or aging hardware. Those machines need regular maintenance more than most — but it's usually the first thing to get cut when funds are tight. Overheating laptops, dusty desktops, and failing equipment can seriously disrupt the important work these organisations do every day.
We're proud to help keep their technology running smoothly, at no cost. No catches, no strings attached. If you're a registered charity or non-profit and your equipment could use some care, just get in touch — we'd love to help.
How DustyCircuits Came to Be
Building PCs Since Day One
What started as a childhood fascination with taking things apart turned into a lifelong passion. From first builds to custom water-cooling loops and home server racks, Daniel has always been the person friends and family called when their tech needed help.
Building Businesses That Scale
Through building and growing platforms like BookingNinja.io and GoPiglet.com, Daniel learned how to create services that thousands of people trust and rely on every day — and how important it is to do things properly at scale.
Seeing the Gap
Years of maintaining dedicated server hardware made one thing clear: physical cleaning is critical but almost universally neglected in the consumer space. There was no easy, trustworthy way for regular people to get their PCs professionally cleaned. DustyCircuits was the answer.
Giving Back
From the start, DustyCircuits has offered completely free cleaning for charities and non-profits. Technology should work well for everyone — especially for organisations making the world a better place.
